/ Cart Vendors
are everywhere. This man's enterprise is typical of the many
who don't have "jobs", but who somehow find ways to eke out a living. I
meet people of all castes and economic levels, and I sense the richest spirits
among those who possess the least. As a westerner, concerned about health,
I eat no unpeeled fresh foods, I purify my water, and eat cooked food from
street vendors. I had no illness in India, though many westerners do.
