      . . . River Meditation . . .Each 
      morning at Shantivarnum begins with an outdoor meditation, where we each 
      find a place along the river to sit for an hour of silent mind. Anne and 
      I then do yoga. Greg and I paint. My meditations finally become peaceful. 
      I realize that all spiritual practices and religions can be valid. I feel 
      a universal force exists, which is a part of me. I feel more complete than
