Old Growth Forest

Oregon is lovely in every season, despite a tendency to rain. Every autumn, Oregon springs into magnificent color, slightly different than we all love in New England, but in its own rugged fashion. This weekend in October 2004, I spend two very special days in "Old Growth" forests. The term refers to forest which have never been logged, and are special not only for wildlife but a thrill to visit.
