NEPAL 1985 ......... After leaving Bangladesh, an important leg of my midlife odessy is a long slow walk alone here. Nepal has virtually no roads, and little economy except tourism. I'm not here to climb high mountains, but to restore my soul. I follow much of the Annapurna circuit, an ancient pilgrims trail along the Kali Ghandaki River, sleeping in local homes or inns, painting and drawing.
