NEPAL 1985 . . . . . Nepali Women live a hard life, like most third world women. They tend children and animals, gather wood for cooking fires, carry water and enormous loads. Most women meet my eyes with smiling kind faces, willing to accept a stranger. Their diet is rice and lentils, but the poorest, unable to afford rice, eat barley.
