NEPAL 1985 . . . . . Kalopani . . .This village has a great view of the Himalayas. The trail is an ancient route, only for foot traffic. I see few animals, few birds, an occasional Stupa or monastery, many tiny villages. A few Inns serve western meals to hikers. I meet Tibetan walkers, too, well dressed, powerful faces.
